Today I pay homage to a dear friend who has since passed away. When in his senior year of high school James was asked to write a term paper for his class. He labored over it and finally turned it on the designated day. The instructor took the paper and read the cover sheet. “Life Is”. He turned the page to read the paper. It said, “Life Is.” He thought about what was written. Marked the paper A+ and returned it to James.
This week has seen more than it’s fair share of tragedy. Many postulate the rights and wrongs, the causes, and the effects. I default to my friend James. Life is. Oftentimes life is too much to comprehend in a moment. It simply is.
