I have often heard it said that there are 4 life experiences that are the most stressful.

  1. Moving
  2. Death of a family member
  3. Job change
  4. Divorce

I think there is another that functions in the background of all our lives and all of the time . Change. Planning ahead, or for the future requires change for growth. Circumstance brings change whether we desire it or not. It may be as simple as meeting the new neighbor to as complicated as downsizing from a large home to a small one. It may be retirement and the changes that go with it. The stress related to preparing the future can be debilitating. Often times one makes no change at all and finds themselves stressed by the circumstances of the every day. Moving forward and planning for the future is intimidating. I  intend to begin preparing for my future when that future comes. I believe it will begin just after I finish this cup of coffee.

Pray for me. I will pray for you also..

Blogging is a challenge. In a world of busi-ness, or chores, of animals and responsibilities the challenge of a daily blog is a challenge in frustrations. I think of a few stories of Jesus that survived out of a span of years. Perhaps the message and hope of love experienced, and shared, will survive the centuries let alone a few years.

The challenge of mine and others is to keep the message active. Love one another. Expect yourself to share the love that you expect from others. And in all things put forth sharing more than just taking and you will find more received than ever handed out. Not intentionally, but because it is simply the way that love works.

Have a great day. dennis
