The time I spend contemplating the days events as a learning experience becomes the equivalent of the homework I was given as a youth. I have learned a great deal in these times, written much music and poetry, and discovered that were human relations easy to learn, we would all do it better.

The Tapestry
The Tapestry. I was reminded yesterday of a song I wrote a number of years ago, The Tapestry. I was looking at my rug, with a broad brocade pattern emanating from a center circle. As I envisioned myself as the center circle it reminded me of how our lives are a tapestry in process. We touch those closest to us, who in turn touch those closest to them and so on and so on. The reality is that after so many years the number of ‘touches’ emanating from our existence is as complex as the fibers of that rug. More than I can count or imagine. If you think you have no impact, think again. The impact you have had on so many can not be measured nor comprehended. Truly you are as important as any other human being, and the world would be the loser had you not existed here.
